Specification
Description
- The fibers dyed different colors, either of single-mode or multi-mode, are positioned in a loose tube.
- The tube is made of high Young’s modulus plastic and filled with water-resistant filling compound.
- The tube is wrapped longitudinally with a layer of PSP (Plastic-Steel-Plastic) laminated tape.
- Between PSP and loose tube, water-blocking material is applied to keep cable compact and watertight.
- Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the PSP tape.
- The cable is completed with polyethylene (PE) sheath.
Features
- Compact structure and lightness, flexible and good bend-resistance performance.
- Loose tube construction provides environmental protection.
Applications
- Used in local and interoffice communication wiring, CATV, computer transmission system.
- Installed in ducts, underground conduit or aerial/lashed.
