Description

Flat optical-fiber-ribbon indoor cable (type II), which uses optical fiber ribbon as the basic component, is a simple structured and
common optical-fiber-ribbon indoor cable. It consists of a fiber ribbon located in horizontal in cable center, aramid yarns that are used as
strength member, and proper material jacket in racetrack shape. There are usually 2, 4, 6, 8, or 12 fibers in each fiber ribbon. This kind
of cable is usually used as pigtails and patch cords, although sometimes it is also used in indoor cabling.
